The place’s owner is a retiree who used to work in the technology industry. Located in the downtown, the cozy residence at the skyscraper is carefully designed for the family, to enjoy this incredible journey of life with tranquility.

Through the designer's spatial design, the atmosphere of “home sweet home” is built up to draw the whole family closer to each other. For the couple who enjoys more of a simple and homey lifestyle, they wish to reflect their longing for a life at ease back at home. By using the textures of the materials and applying changes of colors, the designer gets to play with the spatial aesthetics and structural design. The design leads the family members to connect the dots, finding and bringing up habits of lifestyle together under one roof.

For the private space, a great amount of natural lighting is introduced and the wooden elements perfectly correspond to the main theme of the public area. By applying a refreshing lighter color and combining with earth tone’s gentleness, the bedrooms can be kept clean and neat, yet with enough elegance to accommodate and adjust for any possible changes.
